EATING BETWEEN MEALS
IS NOT PERMITTED.

WATER is the drink of the day (not soda, etc.) and NO DESSERT.
Catholics between the ages of 18 and 60 are OBLIGED to FAST
on Ash Wednesday & Good Friday.

Ash Wednesday and ALL Fridays of Lent and Good Friday are days of ABSTINENCE.

ABSTINENCE REGULATIONS:
Meats should NOT be take at ANY meal.  The law of abstinence binds ALL Catholics who are 15 years old and older. Young children, while not obliged to abstain from eating meat, can participate in the Lenten observance.  Children are usually happy to eat Peanut Butter & Jelly or Grilled Cheese and the younger we teach them this Lenten Discipline the better.
