| FAITH FORMATION |
Religious Education:
| The Religious Education program at Holy Family provides sound catechetical instruction in our Catholic Faith. We recognize our responsibility to assist parents, who are the primary formers of their children, in faith. Our mission is to help our children and young people to develop a love for Jesus, a life of prayer and devotion, a sound knowledge of their faith, a love of the sacraments and service to others, which leads to holiness. Religious Education classes meet Sundays, 9:20 – 10:45 from September – May in Seitz and Schiller Halls. All catechists are required to be in good standing with the Catholic Church, living their faith in their daily lives, attending regular catechetical meetings where continuing education takes place, and conforming to all Diocesan requirements. Contact us at 843-785-2895 X 237 or Email: education@holyfamilyhhi.org

| | | | | RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults):
| | The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) names the process by which interested persons gradually become members of the Catholic Church. The R.C.I.A. is primarily a journey of faith from the awareness of stirring of faith and curiosity within one’s heart, through all the stages of asking and seeking, through beginning involvement with Catholic people, through hearing the Gospel proclaimed and by faithful reflection and prayer on the Word of God, through study and discussion about the Catholic experience, through doubts and hesitations, through discernment of God’s call, through the steps of commitment via the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation) to a life of faith, love and justice lived in communion with the Catholic Church. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults here at Holy Family uses formatted instruction materials to introduce those interested in | | | learning more about the Catholic Church.
